Care Quality Commission award Falck Ambulance UK “Good” Rating in Shropshire
Falck Ambulance UK, the UK division of Falck, the Global Leader in Emergency and Assistance services, have been awarded a rating of “Good” across all five inspection domains following an unannounced inspection to its Shropshire site in March 2019.
The inspection is Falck’s first since the CQC moved to a regime of grading independent Ambulance Providers on the same scale as other healthcare and care service providers.
The detailed inspection included interviews with colleagues across all functions and roles, obtaingin feedback from patients, hospital staff and other key stakeholders. Throughout their inspection, the CQC focus and rate on five key questions;
- Are services effective?
- Are services well led?
- Are services caring?
- Are services safe?
- Are services responsive?
Falck Ambulance UK received a rating of “Good” in response to all five areas.
