Falck Launch our New Global Control and Dispatch (CAD) System
Falck is delighted to announce the successful launch of our global control and dispatch (CAD) system within the UK market.
Built around a market leading routing and scheduling algorithm, our dedicated project team developed bespoke booking and reporting functionality to ensure the system was fit for purpose for the UK patient transport market.
Already in operation across Falck’s divisions in Spain, USA and Denmark, this is yet another major milestone in our global transformation program. Into its 2nd week of deployment within a key London contract, the system is already receiving positive feedback from our internal logistic team, the healthcare professionals using the system, and most importantly our patients who are receiving a more responsive and timely service.
Mark Raisbeck, UK Chief Executive Officer, commented;
“The successful roll out of the Falck CAD within the UK is another major milestone and further highlights our desire to be recognised as the market leading Ambulance provider both Globally and within the UK. Although it is early days the new system is already allowing us to deliver an even better service to our patients whilst simultaneously being more efficient with our resources”
Craig Smith Chief Operating Officer, commented;
“The successful deployment of the Falck CAD system in London is a landmark moment for the UK business and is the accumulation of months of hard work. Transferring to a CAD system capable of auto-allocating patient journeys based upon parameters such as road conditions, patient mobility’s and contract Key Performance Indicators is a huge step forward. This will now provide us with the platform to be a truly reactive, responsive service and most importantly allow us to consistently deliver the very best patient experience. We now look forward to fully embedding the system and focusing on the wider roll out across the UK.”
